I’m participating in the 2024 Paint the Town Labor Day art show organized by the Montgomery Art Association at the Kensington Town Hall/Armory. This annual show is one of the largest shows of the area, showcasing around 500 artworks of local artists. 

My painting of the Kensington Train Station “A Slice of Time” was accepted into the “For Love Of Kensington” Show at the Compass Art Center Gallery. This is a wonderful group show. Come to visit the show and meet the artists at the reception (date below).

I’m participating with some of my alla prima flower paintings in the 2nd annual Heart of the Vineyard weekend show in the production room at Windridge organized by the Montgomery Art Association. Come out and enjoy wine and art at the same time. All art is for sale.

"Drawing for Art" is an exhibition and fundraiser in one at Strathmore. Proceeds from Drawing for Art support visual arts at Strathmore, including over a dozen free exhibitions  every year and free or low-cost companion programming. Artists donate original artwork for this event. I have donated my painting “Fortitude” (oil on panel, 10x10”).

Tickets are $100. Each ticket is valid for one piece of artwork plus admission for two to the drawing night. Ticket numbers are drawn at random on the evening of the event. When your ticket number is announced, select the piece of your choice, take it off the wall, and enjoy it forever. We always have more pieces available than tickets sold to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to select something they love.
